Über das Werk
LUMIÈRE
This artwork features Lumière, the charming candelabra from
Beauty and the Beast, reimagined in an experimental and
contemporary setting. The background, created with coffee, unfolds
into an organic interplay of stains, lines, and flowing textures that
resemble dancing shadows.
The figure itself is painted in oil, with rich golden and yellow tones
radiating warmth and energy throughout the composition. Lumière
appears vibrant and full of life, standing in striking contrast to the
calm, earthy depth of the coffee-based background.
A dialogue emerges between light and darkness, brilliance and
impermanence. The organic marks of the coffee evoke the passage
of time and the beauty of transformation, while Lumière’s glowing
presence becomes a symbol of warmth, hope, and resilience.
The result is a work that celebrates the delicate balance between
the fleeting and the enduring, where even the simplest materials
can be transformed into something luminous and timeles
